Disclaimer / Liability
The total liability of IUMI and TFI Lodestar Ltd, as the Conference organisers, to Conference delegates shall be limited to the price paid to attend the Conference, subject to the organisers' right to deduct any administrative costs in relation to the same.
IUMI and TFI Lodestar Ltd accept no liability for the act of any supplier to this meeting, nor liability for personal injury and for the safety of any attendee whilst in transit to and from this congress; for any loss or damage; nor for delays in transport by air, sea, rail, road due to adverse weather conditions, strikes, sickness, war or other force-majeure causes.
Eligibility
Registration to the IUMI conference is restricted to employees from insurance companies and associations from IUMI member countries, IPPs, Affiliates as well as the categories of attendees listed on the registration site. Other persons can only join upon personal invitation of IUMI or the host association. In case of doubt, please contact your national (marine) insurance association prior to registering to confirm eligibility.
Entry requirements for the Netherlands
Entry requirements apply only to the area controlled by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) and the Schengen Area regulations. Information on visa requirements for entry into the Netherlands can be found on this link.
Participants may request a visa invitation letter during the registration process. Please note that the visa invitation letter does not exempt attendees from complying with all requirements relating to registration and payment for their participation, accommodation, and travel. The IUMI Conference Organisers accept no responsibility should entry be denied by the Dutch immigration authorities.
Insurance
IUMI and TFI Lodestar Ltd take no responsibility for the travel and accommodation costs of each delegate. It is the responsibility of each individual to take out their own travel insurance.
Participants List
The list of participants will be available to all participants and include Name, country and company.
Photography and recording
Audio, photo and video recording by any device (e.g. cameras, laptops, PDAs, mobile phones, watches) is strictly prohibited during all meetings and workshop sessions, unless prior permission has been obtained from the Conference organisers.
Photographs and films, video and sound recordings
The conference organiser is entitled to take photographs, make drawings, make films or video recordings at the conference and to use these for advertising purposes or for publication in the media. This also applies to photographs or recordings made directly by the press or television with the approval of the conference organiser.
