Postgraduate course on 'Ninety years of cephalometrics. Ready for something new?' (5 hours)

Speaker: Demetrios Halazonetis

This course is intended for students only.

The course focuses on the basic principles and limitations of conventional cephalometrics and introduces alternative approaches to the measurement and study of the shape of the craniofacial complex. It represents 5 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). It can be purchased on its own or in addition to the packages including the full congress or a specific topic of choice.

The course is divided into four parts:

  1. Part 1: Conventional cephalometrics - Geometric morphometrics.
  2. Part 2: Cephalometric landmarks. Growth and superimpositions.
  3. Part 3: Cephalometric correlations. Panoramic radiography.
  4. Part 4: CBCT.
